pening pening!

in a few weeks i'll be off to pd. and being the internet freak that i am, i need internet to obviously "be" with the boyfriend and keep in touch with friends, so i thought of getting either the maxis or celcom broadband. since i'm a maxis user, i thought of getting maxis, but unfortunately, there's no coverage in pd for maxis. and remember a few weeks ago i went to pd? we saw a billboard for celcom broadband there, so i just assumed that celcom actually covers pd. i have yet to go to celcom centre and ask them. but i've done my research.

so all i need is
1. laptop
2. usb modem/ data card/ 3g phone
3. celcom line. sucks!

so the usb modem is damn expensive, retailing for around RM 1000+; so definitely out of the question. it seems that the data card is not so expensive as the usb modem, but a bit slower though its not as slow as if we use 3g phone as the modem. i don't think i'll be using my phone as the modem, since mesti kene charge right. and i'm so not gonna use the celcom line la kan. if not i have to terminate my prepaid la kut. or give it to syahir. haha. anyway, i think i'll go for the data card kut. hopefully its not expensive. i mean, like a few hundreds maybe ok lagi. if more than RM 300-500, then i'll have to think twice la kut. tak pun, busuk2 install streamyx je kat sana. haha. pening pening.

i've just messaged fai just now. so i'll be going to celcom centre this thursday. i need someone with the computer stuff knowledge so that i won't look dumb there. haha. thanks fai and good luck exam! and lets just hope pd is one of the 3g coverage area. amin!
