Foodies.

Am never a fan of cooking. And honestly I've never ever cooked before, the only simple things I can cook is aglio olio, spaghetti meatballs, meggi and things like that.

So now, I've developed this so called passion (?!) for cooking. Mostly because I want to please the husband. So let's see so far I've cooked for him:

Breakfast: french toast, scrambled egg, hotdogs and all. Nothing too difficult. Although I would love to try poached eggs. Soon I hope.

Dinner: first time i did was ayam masak kicap, something simple. Next was ayam masak paprik and sayur campur. So yesterday I really wanna try to cook teriyaki chicken and so I did! It's actually quite a simple recipe and bear in mind I did not use the teriyaki sauce off the rack okay! Purely homemade. :) and it turned out quite lovely! Sweet and nice although it is quite dry. Next time should let it berkuah instead of all kering. Alhamdulillah. Am so happy he likes it. And now am thinking of something else other than chicken; beef or fish perhaps. He requested for sweet and sour fish so probably I can do it this weekend and invite the family as well.

In a nutshell. Awesome pre honeymoon albeit it was a short getaway. I love you husband!

Updates!

Its been a good 10 days of marriage. :)

We just bought our fridge yesterday, gift from the usuals ttdi (thanks guys!), we bought our chairs for our dining table (thanks new cousins!) and a cupboard for me to put my stuff in. We don't have a proper wardrobe yet as we're both quite fussy in deciding one.

Always wanted an open space wardrobe butttttt as much as it looks nice and all, we gotta think being practical. It takes a whole lot of effort to make sure it won't look messy hahaha so yeah, we went to ikea yesterday and saw one huge wardrobe that we both like. Now hoping it'll fit the space.

What else? Adam's friend got him the Krups machine, so yesterday we excitedly bought the chococino only to find out that his friends too bought few flavors for us.

My birthday is coming up soon so adam told me go renew my passport as soon as possible as he wants to whisk me away for a weekend getaway before our honeymoon. Looking at our schedule its quite impossible to find time as we have few weddings (including our own!) to attend and the fact that sometimes he has to work weekends sucks much!

Went back to tmn tun yesterday and asked mom if she missed me being around, and i think she did! Coz she said once in a while she would wonder why i tak balik lagi from work. :') i miss her too. Sigh.

All these while being away from home i always thought i'll be okay once i move out but yeaaaah. It'll take some time i guess, and thank god tmn tun is just more or less an hour away.
