Love him for he is and for he is not. When you love a man for who he is, you find ways to make peace with the qualities he doesn't have. You find ways to make peace with his quirks, the way he drives you crazy, the ways in which he is irritating and irrational. You make peace with anything about him which is less than idyllic. When you can accept a man for being imperfect, your relationship will deepen, and so will the level of intimacy and love.
