Meat/porkballs
'm sure you've heard of this, where it is said that the ikea meatballs somehow contains pork. The rumours started off when ikea closed down their cafe in order for them to 'samak' the place, as in to clean all the utensils, cooking equipments and all according to Islam. And naturally people will talk about this, because 'samak' only happens when it involves pigs and dogs. Next thing i knew, my twitter timeline was full with people retweeting about it. Some said the meatballs came from a local supplier which is certified halal. Wallahuallam.
It is sad that even here, where the national religion is Islam, we have trouble identifying halal restaurants/ cafes. I know i don't really know the real story behind it, maybe ikea is being really honest with their intention to make sure muslims are comfortable and confident to eat there. But then again, the whole issue of halal is somehow truly annoying because we get to know about it through social networking. And i don't know about you, but i would never trust 100% anything that came out from the internet.
Now let's just hope we can get things straighten out. Because if i were to get one more email about how Starbucks is actually not halal, or Secret Recipe or anything else i will surely go craaaaazy!

How to change flat tyre

1. Immediately slow down the speed of your vehicle and steer it safely off the road. Take note that a blown tyre interferes with the vehicle's steering and proper handling.
2. Have your car parked on a flat area. Do not try to jack your car while you are on a sloping surface, as this will pose as a serious threat for your safety since your car will not have proper balance.
3. Turn off the car and immediately turn on the emergency lights and apply the parking brake. Using the emergency lights will make your disabled vehicle more visible, especially at night.
4. Be sure that your car is in gear. If you have an automatic gear, be sure that it is on ''park (P).''
5. Get the necessary tools out of the trunk of your vehicle. You will need a good spare tyre, car jack, lug tool, a jack stand and a block for the tires.
6. Use the lug tool to loosen the lug nuts on the tyre before you jack the vehicle up, loosen them in order.
7. Use the car jack to carefully raise the front or rear end of the vehicle. You will need to raise the vehicle high enough so that you can remove the flat tyre. If you are not sure how to the use the jack, follow the manufacturer's instructions.
There are several types of jacks and different ways to use them.
8. Make sure you close the car door, booth and bonnet before jacking the car. Not doing so may cause minor distortions in the vehicle chases. This is especially true if the booth or fuel tank is full. Doors might not be able to be close properly if you ignore this.
9. Remove the lug nuts and put them aside carefully.
10. Remove the flat tyre from the vehicle and put it aside.
11. Place the spare tyre onto the hub, making sure to align the holes in the tyre to the studs that are sticking out.
12. Remember to place the tyre with the air valve facing you. If you don't see the air valves you may have put the tyre on backwards.
13. Replace the lug nuts and tighten them in the same fashion in which you loosened them.
14. Slowly lower the jack all the way down. Use the lug tool to tighten all of the lug nuts. Make sure that they are all tightened securely.
15. Place the flat tyre and tools in the boot.
16. The flat tyre should be repaired or replaced as soon as possible.

Few days back, #teenagememories and #childhoodmemories were trending in twitter. My friends and i were having so much fun reminiscing the past, in primary school and also in secondary. And damn i miss it so much! It was so much fun back then, with nothing to think about except for exams, to study, hang out, boys and malls.
Sigh. Miss it. But life goes on. :)

He's Married !
If you think i'm fussy with food, you should meet one of my good friend, Fai. Since the list of food he doesn't eat is quite long, therefore i will make a list of food that he eats. Well it consists of bread, eggs, cheese and erm, that's it. Like seriously, chicken = no, beef = no, rice = no, almost everything also tak makanlah!
But anyway i'm not gonna talk about the things that he eats and all, well the thing is....
HE'S MARRIED!!
Yup, the first one in The Usuals to tie the knot. Well but then again it is about time, since they've been together for like foreverrr! But yeah, he's married! *gasp! tears of joy*. The rest of the usuals and i were invited (eceh) to be a part of the entourage for the solemnization, and with ONE lafaz, they're husband and wife. :) Sigh i'm so happy for them. Like really am. I think they're like the coolest couple ever! Adam and i talked about this few days ago, how we rarely see them fighting or "berdrama" (if you get what i mean), unlike me and Adam, we're full of drama. But yeah, definitely the coolest couple ever.
So to Fai and Zura, Congratulations! Wishing you guys the best of luck for your new journey as husband and wife. And i hope to see little fai and little zura soon!
