i'm starting to wonder if i'm taking the right course. haha. but naaah. i love it! tho in a way i've been duped into believing that chemical engg is more to chemistry rather than physics. but nevertheless the last 4 years have been wonderful! :)
anyways, went to the jobsdb.com career fair at klcc just now. overall i guess the fair was okay, but only to those who are majoring in IT or mechanical engg or banking/finance or whatever. for chemical engineering background, like me, not so much company are participating. however! i managed to apply work at this company, Plant Engineering Construction. well basically, its all about the construction of chemical plant from scratch and the maintanence after that. will be working in the plant, under the hot sun. have to ride a bicycle. interesting? yup definitely! but the downside of it is that, it is based in Singapore, specifically in Jurong Island. :) talked to them for quite a while, found out that they need around 40-50 project engineers for the major turnaround in 2009. and its sounds fun too. so wish me luck peeps! other than that, applied in Ranhill as well, and also Petrofac, based in Kemamam, Terengganu.
met Shira too! haha, funny how we live so near but only in klcc we manage to see each other. haha. but she was in a hurry so couldn't talk much. :)
its the first of march tomorrow! and i still haven't gotten my paycheque. pfft.
and sunburst is 15 days away. *wink*
