Day 2 & THE Day

Day 2 was pampering self day as I had manicure/ pedicure first thing in the morning, lulur, massage and facial in the afternoon and innai session at night. 

It was a hectic day as well as we need to finalize the guest list and put them in the respective table. Disclaimer: I did not participate much in the coordination of the tables. :) And but of course, apalah wedding without drama right?

Alhamdulillah for the past 7 months being engaged, there's not much dugaan for us, syukur sgt but almost at the end of the week, it came in the form of my father. I don't want to talk much about it, but all I can say is he's such an embarrassment. Haih. Now let's pray that he will come to the solemnization later. 

I slept at around 1 am and annoyingly woke up at 3.30 in the morning, feeling somehow fresh. I always have trouble sleeping if i'm too excited or nervous, woke up to find mom still awake too, or rather dia sendiri have trouble sleeping (nervous too perhaps?)

Day 5

Began with me waking up at 4 am and then 7 am. Forced myself back to sleep and managed to wake up around 8. Oh well.

Tante, Ira and Wanchu came to the house around noon to help mom with some of the extra doorgifts for the solemnization courtesy of Aunty Ida (thank you!). Later in the evening Ayah Man and Ayah Jor dropped by to discuss on the seating arrangements and the table placing.

Din dropped by as well as Wanchu would like to go through some few things with him.

Fariz did the signage for the reception, will laminate it soon and stick it probably on Friday night.

The house is in a mess, full of boxes. Haha! 4 more days to go!

Day 6

Went to Abg Alin's place for the final fitting, thank god everything is okay. Fuh! Just need to iron it out a bit, hang it then it'll be okay.

Went out with Adam to buy last minute items, thank god we managed to buy everything that we need. So freaking tired! From Sogo to Jalan Tar to OU to Ikea to Curve. Fuh! By the end of the day I was so tired I slept right away!

Day 9

Finally settle things off with masjid. Quite last minute but oh well. We will be having our solemnization at At-Taqwa, insyallah. I wanted to do it in Masjid Wilayah but unfortunately when I called them last year they said that they will be closed till May this year for renovation.

A pity because I've always imagined doing it there.

Remember in form 4 or 5 we had to keep pets for biology? My friends and i at that time decided to buy terrapins for our project. We bought 3, and now 10 years later here's one of em. The other 2 died few years back. Huge right? Been wanting to buy another 1,2 more to keep him/her company but quite afraid that he/she will bully them. I bought the island for him/her to chill on but as you can see it's quite too small for him/her haha!

Day 13

Went to Abg Alin's for my final fitting. I super love my reception dress! Alhamdulillah. I need some slight alteration to the baju then insyallah by this week i can pick it up already. Weee!

Cousin of mine gave me the most awesome pre wedding gift; bridal package at Hammam. So exciting! I've heard a lot of good reviews abt this place so am very much looking forward to be pampered here.

Yesterday too I finally collected my solemnization doorgifts. Left pending would be the boxes that comes with it. Will get it this Tuesday perhaps.

Pretty much a tiring day yesterday as it was so freaking hot and humid! But we ended the day by having Chatime to cool it down.
