I'm not really sure why I'm affected by this, I know no one in that flight however I  found myself crying thinking about them.

May Allah keep them safe and sound. Come home MH370. We're all waiting for you.

Recipe - Banana Cake

I found the perfect recipe for banana cake. I did it twice before this, the first one didn't turned out too well, second was so so, but this one is perfect!

Recipe taken from Kitchen Guardian's blog.

Ingredients:
175 all purpose flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp bicarbonate soda
1/2 tsp salt
125g butter
150g sugar (I used brown sugar)
2 eggs (I used Grade A eggs)
300g bananas, without skib (I used Cavendish banana)
Chopped walnuts
1 tsp vanilla extract

Preparation:
1. Preheat oven to 170 degC
2. Sift flour, bicarbonate soda, baking powder and salt. Set aside.
3. Mash bananas, chop walnuts and set aside.
4. Melt the butter in pan. Don't boil the butter!
5. Add butter in large bowl, add sugar and mix well.
6. Add in eggs, one at a time. Add in bananas and walnuts.
7. Fold in the flour mixture, at least in 3 batches. Mix it well.
8. Pour into pan that has been greased with butter. I used the baking liner, much easier.
8. Bake at around 45 to 60 minutes. I did mine at 45 minutes but had too add another 10 minutes.

Bon apetit!
